Heal(ed)

Installation Design

This light project draws inspiration from scars. Scars are often seen as negative, dark, and unattractive—something flawed beneath the surface.

The light cover is crafted from layers of textured paper, built up gradually. After layering, it was exposed to the elements, allowing the passage of time and weather to naturally shape its texture.

As a result, the cover hardened, its surface becoming rough and imperfect. When light shines through the small gaps in the cover, it reflects the core message of the design: while scars may heal over time, they are a part of your life’s story. Embrace them, for they can also reveal your inner light.
